What Happened
Ossoff and Bottoms held the rally Saturday night, Oct. 17, 2026. Ossoff connected cost-of-living pressures to the Iran war and President Donald Trump’s tariff policies, while Bottoms attributed higher prices to Trump’s policies.
Ossoff also discussed political corruption. He said, “You work harder and harder, but the treadmill gets faster and steeper, and the bills get higher and higher.”
Bottoms said, “Donald Trump hasn’t just raised prices, he’s also raised blood pressure.”
Trump campaigned in Dalton on Friday night for Rick Jackson and Mike Collins.
