What Happened
The Idaho Judicial Branch deployed an enhanced court records search interface across all 44 county courthouses on Tuesday morning. The new system replaces previous kiosks that required users to enter a party name or case number to locate records.
Public-access computers in each courthouse now enable broader searches across state court filings. Records are also available through the Idaho Supreme Court building in Boise and the Idaho Judicial Branch website.
Idaho law requires court records to remain open to public inspection at reasonable times and permits residents to copy documents either physically or by photography. The state may charge fees to cover copying costs.
